Add the White rum (I prefer 10 Cane personally), the Peppermint schnapps, amaretto, and Bailey's Irish Cream (preferably the new Mint version). Stir gently with the Candy Cane/Peppermint candy and add marshmallows and whipped cream if you so desire. Enough of these and you'll be buried under a drift of your own!

This drink is not generally made by the glass. Its great for 1-2ppl per recipe, also, i couldn't get the ingredients to show up just right. Follow the directions for correct amounts.

Put 1 bottle of red wine (merlot is best)in a medium saucepan and add 3/4 c. of water and 1/2 c. of sugar. Also put in a whole cinnamon stick, a tablespoon of lemon juice and 5 whole cloves. Warm slowly stirring, esp. until sugar dissolves. Don't let it boil, but it should be ready in about 25 minutes. Put a lemon slice into the bottom of coffee cups before pouring. Make sure the cloves or cinnamon sticks arent poured out. Great drink for cold days or nights.

This is a fantastic drink when you're sick or just to warm you up on cold winter nights.

In a mug, combine 2 oz. of whiskey* with the juice from half a lemon and a teaspoon of honey†. Fill rest of mug with boiling water. Stir with a cinnamon stick, leaving the stick in the drink, then garnish with a lemon wedge studded with cloves and sprinkle a pinch of nutmeg on top. Let stand for 5 minutes to allow the flavors to mix and the drink to cool before drinking.

Notes:
* I usually use Irish whiskey in this drink because of its smooth flavor, but it can also be made with Scotch whisky, Canadian whisky, bourbon, brandy, or rum.
† More honey may be added to taste.

In a small bowl, add a small amount of refined sugar to the heavy cream and whip until it is thickened, but not forming peaks. Keep the whipped cream chilled. In an Irish coffee glass (or another smallish glass) combine 3 oz. of good Irish whiskey with 2 Tbsp. brown sugar and allow sugar to dissolve*†. Add 3 oz. of freshly brewed strong coffee or espresso. Layer the whipped cream carefully over the coffee/whiskey to the top of the glass, using a spoon to disperse it over the top without mixing.

Notes:
*You may heat the mixture to facilitate this. If you have an espresso machine, you can use that to make the coffee/espresso and use the steamer to heat the whiskey and sugar.
†Optionally, once the sugar has dissolved, you may put a match or lighter to the glass and flame the whiskey for a few seconds. This mellows the whiskey and gives the finished drink a deeper flavour.

Making this with white hot chocolate (rather than milk chocolate) makes it extra nice.
