			<description><![CDATA['Ti ponch is short for "petit ponch," a great cocktail from the French Antilles in the Caribbean. It can be made with light rum or cachaça, but I prefer good dark rum such as Mount Gay or Appleton Special.

Fill an old-fashioned glass or pitcher with ice. Add 1 jigger rum, 1/2 jigger simple syrup, and the juice of 1/2 lime per serving (be sure to get as much lime pulp as possible). Stir and serve.

For the more traditional (and deadly) version, strain into shot glasses and get gone!]]></description>
