The Jolly Roger is basically the Pirate's Roy Rogers. Cola & Grenadine, but since the mainstay of the Pirate is Rum, we've tossed it in, and christened it with the name of our beloved flag...

Prepare a tall glass with as much or as little ice as you prefer. I prefer less ice. Start with the Grenadine, just a splash or two will do. Next, add your rum. I prefer a darker rum, such as Captain Morgan Tattoo or Bacardi Select. Add cola to finish off the drink, then toss a cherry or two on top.

There you have the Buccanneer's delight. The Jolly Roger.
