Tequila and Sangrita by fluxgame

1.5 parts Tequila

6 parts Orange juice

3 parts Tomato juice

1 part Grenadine

Lime

Tabasco sauce

Salt

Mix together Orange Juice, Tomato Juice, a few dashes of Tabasco and a squirt of lime juice. Proportions aren't critical, experiment till you find a mixture that suits you. This is the Sangrita.

Now, serve the Sangrita in a caballito (a tall, 2 oz shot glass) alongside some good quality tequila in another caballito. Sip the two alternately, but for goodness sake don't mix them together.

Pour the Tequila over ice. Combine Orange Juice, Tomato Juice, Grenadine, salt, tabasco sauce or chili powder (to taste) and mix with the Tequila. Garnish with a lime wedge. Enjoy.
