Make sure your glass, Gin and Vermouth are chilled to start. Add some cracked ice to the shaker, next 2 measures Gin and finally half a measure Vermouth. The next stages determine how perfect a Martini you make. Stir the contents (never shake; Too many Bond films if you do) and then strain into Martini glass. If you can strain it a second time, this takes out some more of the fragments of ice which can give the drink a sharpness. Finally the olive if you fancy. Live doesn't get any better
