Prepare a rocks glass with a few ice cubes, and pour in the gin. Run the lime wedge around the rim of the glass. Next, squeeze a lime wedge into the gin (and I mean *really* squeeze the juice out of the lime). Mix the gin and lime thoroughly, and drop the wedge in the glass. Finally, top it off with tonic water in a 2:1 ratio with the amount of gin.
