Shake the 1.5 oz. dark Jamaican rum, 3/4 oz. lime juice , 1 tsp. sugar and 1/2 oz. grenadine in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain into a tall glass with fresh crushed ice, fill with club soda and float 1/2 oz. maraschino liqueur on top.
