A Bloody Mary, without the blood.

Add a splash of Worcestershire sauce and a good dose of Tabasco Sauce to a shot glass. Top with chilled vodka, and add lots of cracked black pepper and (preferably Maldon) salt.

If you get it right, you'll have a nice 'scab' of pepper and salt floating on the top of the shot.

Down in one! An eye-watering, yet somehow invigorating drink.
