Prepare a rock (old fashioned) glass full of ice then add the Angostura Bitters, next add the Sweet Vermouth, next add the Rye whiskey and stir. Garnish with the maraschino cherry.

Note: I typically use a mix of 1.25 Rye to .75 Vermouth.
