Sparkling French Martini by Rudy Land

2 parts Vodka

1 part Raspberry liqueur

1 part Champagne

1 part Pineapple juice

Sugar

Lemon peel

Add sugar to the rim of your martini glass.

Combine the vodka, chambord and pineapple juice in your martini shaker with ice. Do not add the champagne yet!

Shake gently, pour, and then add champagne.

Garnish with lemon peel.

Excellent version of the French Martini. I would only sugar half the rim - so guests can choose if they want sugar in their sips or not - and add slightly less pineapple juice so as not to make it too sweet (or more if you don't like very strong cocktails). If you like very sweet drinks, use a nice vanilla vodka instead. It's so easy to infuse your own! - alliRIC (359 days ago)
