Pour a bit Maraschino cherry juice in a tall glass, then fill it with the rum until its about 1/4 the way full, then pour in the mt dew until its full (i used a full can and it worked out perfectly), then drop in a cherry. Stir if you wanna taste the cherry a little more.
A tasty light drink.
