B and B is actually the name of a drink the Benedictine folks already make; it's their Benedictine liqueur mixed with Brandy. Further, cognac is not a superior type of brandy, it is a specific type of brandy. Brandy is a liquor made from wine grapes--instead of making wine, they distill the grapes to make a liquor--and cognac is simply brandy made from Champagne grapes, that is, (usually white) grapes from the Champagne region of France, used to make the sparkling wine of the same name. - matt.simmons(76 days ago)
Cognac is consider a superior type of brandy. Why would you mix a inferior type brandy with finer brandy? Just drink the cognac, this is very silly I think. This is the equivalent of mixing a generic tequila with something like Patrone tequila. - guchdog(199 days ago)
