This drink is very popular in Northern Italy, especially Venice. Seems like everyone is drinking it, either with Campari or Aperol. I prefer it with Campari. This drink should be served in very large red wine glasses, the entire drink should only fill half the glass or so. The wine should preferably be a prosecco, but any dry white wine does it. Start with the wine, then add the bitters. Add a splash of Soda water adds some extra quality to the drink. Finish with an Orange Slice. Salute!
