Prepare an old fashioned glass full of ice then add the Whiskey, next add the Dry Vermouth, next add the Sweet Vermouth, next add the Bitters. If possible, garnish with a Marashino cherry.

i tried it and it is good. With bourbon of course. - keithd(652 days ago)
This is just a technical point, but a Manhattan has to be specifically bourbon or rye, and only has sweet vermouth and bitters. This is important because scotch whiskey with both kinds of vermouth is a Rob Roy. - Bronx Cheer(677 days ago)
Sweet AND dry Vermouth? I'll have to try this. - keithd(731 days ago)
Up the Whiskey, make sure its Rye or Bourbon. Also note that this can be (and usually is) served in a Martini glass. - pooba001(904 days ago)
