 | The yellow box that pops up when you add an ingredient (and consequently pushes down the three-columns) is super visually annoying. The box is fine, it's the popping of the columns that's wacky. This could just be a pet peeve but I hate how users are taking credit for well known drinks that are circulating already. I only have originals in my recipie book, but I've noticed some people just taking credit for others recipies. Perhaps as a default if the drink you are posting isn't YOUR original you should try to relay who made it or where you heard about it from ect.. That way copyright of a sort is occuring and I don't have to get mad about users just naming the popular drinks. Please consider this.. - Amaranth (962 days ago) |

| There should be a method of merging ingredients or having alternate ingredients. Is there really a difference between Welch's® apple juice and Apple juice? Or A&W® root beer and Root beer? Even if there is, it would be nice to see that I could make a close replica of a drink including Welch's® apple juice with offbrand generic Apple juice. Allowing the addition of alternate ingredients in recipes would partially solve this. - jph (963 days ago) |

You should also support the sms features via mms and email. (I'm sure I'm not the only one with a cell plan which is unlimited for those). Unknown commands should return a list of commands. You need some way to rate the "other directions" and promote those the the primary recipe. It's silly to have a bad recipe leading the page just because it got there first. - vortech (963 days ago) |

| When you add from the full ingrediants list, it would be very helpful if things were listed up and down, not across three columns (so you could scroll down and see where you'd been) or broken up by letter. Also, there are several duplicate ingrediants because of case sensitivity. I don't think people should be able to add their own ingrediants - have them pick from a locked list or something. - kap0w (963 days ago) |

Just a suggestion... How about adding some sort of symbol to different drink types? It would be as simple as a showing if it's a drink or a shot. It could also be compliated and organized by drink type-- magarita, shot, martini, etc. I just think it would be nice to be able to tell if a drink is a drink or a shot and be able to search for a type of drink. - verbal (964 days ago) |

I don't want to pour cold water on what you've already built, but drinks via SMS? Recalling shortcodes when I've already had a drink or two? Maybe there's an easier way. | I would also like to point out that I want to build a library of drinks, both the ones that I like and ones that I would like to try, but my recipe book only lists recipes I add. Here's a quick thought: What about a system which tells you what you need to buy next for your bar? 'You can make 59 drinks with the stuff in your bar, but you could make 5 more if you bought some vodka, and another 6 if you bought orange juice' Now, I can't think of a simple way to do this - without crashing the internet in an enormous infinite loop. But, it would be cool, wouldn't it!? You could reduce the amount of processing by limiting the suggester to the most popular ingredients not already in the bar.
